Orange Shirt Day
Every National Day of Truth and Reconciliation, we commemorate the residential school experience, to witness and honor the healing journey of the survivors and their families. At Glen Group, we remember this significant day and pause to consider the history, experiences, and resilience of Indigenous peoples. Our employees, whether they work in the office, from home, out in the field, or in meetings, proudly wear orange to honor the survivors of the residential school system and to commemorate those who never returned home
Glen Group, as an organization deeply rooted in community values, actively participates in initiatives that support Indigenous communities’ well-being. Beyond the symbolic gesture of wearing orange on significant days, we’ve fostered partnerships with Indigenous-led organizations, contributing to educational programs, scholarships, and employment opportunities.
As an organization, we acknowledge that our commitment to truth and reconciliation is an ongoing journey. We strive to continuously educate ourselves, listen to Indigenous voices, and take meaningful action in solidarity with Indigenous communities. Glen Group remains dedicated to playing a role in reconciliation, acknowledging the past while actively shaping a more equitable and inclusive future for all.
